Sharpes Farm Feeds is always coming up with new ways to look after its customers. Its mobile app is designed to make it even simpler and easier for farmers to order their feed.
The app is simple to set-up, gives you the ability to order anytime from anywhere, and the order will still be put through your preferred store. There are app alerts when your order has been dispatched, you can easily view past orders and the app has a handy ‘Repeat Order’ function too.
Ken and Steph Norman use the mobile app to order calf meal for their 760 hectare farm at Mangamaire, near Pahiatua.
The couple raise anywhere from 600 to 1200 calves annually. Last year they fed around 85 tonnes of Sharpes calf meal.
Using the mobile app for all ordering keeps everything simple, says Ken.
Steph and Ken have been using Sharpes products since they began rearing calves in 2004. The couple know that attention to detail is the key to raising top calves, and nutrition is a crucial element.
